Role Purpose: Provide direct residential support services, assisting residents with daily living activities while contributing to a positive, therapeutic living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care
  • Support meal preparation and household management
  • Help with medication reminders and health appointments
  • Provide emotional support and crisis assistance
  • Assist with recreational and therapeutic activities
  • Help maintain facility cleanliness and organization
  • Support residents in developing independent living skills
  • Assist with documentation and record keeping
  • Participate in resident meetings and planning sessions
  • Support emergency response and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Experience in residential care or social support
  • Compassionate and patient approach to care
  • Physical ability to assist with daily living activities
  • Understanding of residential care principles
  • Basic crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
  • Reliable and consistent in service delivery
  • Ability to work as part of a residential care team
  • Background check and police clearance required
