Art & Culture

The Glass and Crystal Museum of Málaga is a unique cultural attraction housed in a beautifully restored 18th-century mansion in the heart of the city.

MALAGA, Spain

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic trainee to join our team at the Museo del Vidrio y Cristal de Málaga, a unique museum dedicated to decorative arts and the history of glass and crystal.

The internship requires a minimum commitment of two months, with the possibility of extending up to one year. The museum is closed throughout August. This is an unpaid internship; however, lunch is provided during working hours.

The internship involves approximately 30–35 hours per week, with two days off per week. Your main responsibilities will include conducting guided tours for international visitors, mainly in English, developing engaging narratives about the artworks and assisting visitors in discovering the history and cultural context of the collection. You will also have the opportunity to assist with ticket sales, customer information, office administration and educational activities such as workshops. If interested, you may also contribute creatively to the museum's social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok.

This internship offers much more than practical work experience. It is an opportunity to develop your communication and language skills, particularly through daily interaction with international visitors, while gaining knowledge of art, decorative arts, European history and Spanish culture.
