The Factory Music Group, a music and digital media company based in Athens, Greece, is seeking an Operations & Process Design Intern to support the structuring and optimisation of internal company processes.

This role focuses on documenting, standardising, and improving operational workflows across music distribution, content publishing, catalog management, and contract administration. The intern will work directly with senior leadership to translate existing hands-on processes into clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that enable scalability and operational efficiency.

This is a practical, structured internship designed for individuals interested in business operations, systems thinking, and organisational development within the creative industries.

Main Responsibilities
 

  • Map and document internal workflows and operational processes
  • Create structured SOPs for core company activities (e.g. YouTube publishing, social media posting, catalog onboarding, contract workflow)
  • Develop checklists, templates, and internal documentation guides
  •  
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements
  • Support the implementation of simple automation and AI-assisted tools where appropriate
  • Collaborate with creative and technical teams to accurately capture operational steps

Requirements
 

  • Background in Business, Management, Operations, Digital Media, or related field
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand complex workflows and structure them clearly
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in music, digital media, or creative industries is a plus

Important Information
 

  • This is a full-time, in-person position based in Athens, Greece (5 days per week).
  • The internship is compensated through the Erasmus+ grant provided by the intern’s home institution.
