Dirty Roots Berlin is a plant-education brand and creative studio: handmade sphere planters, a book (Leave It the F*** Alone), short videos, a blog and a members club, all built on one idea: most plant advice is noise, so observe more and intervene less. A small studio run by the founder with a rotating team of interns, so you work on real things that ship.
What you will do
- Improve our Squarespace site with custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript: speed, responsiveness, usability.
- Build new sections: a landing page for our free guide, members club improvements, shop and archive pages.
- Continue our browser game LITFA (Phaser 3 + Vite, JavaScript): wire systems, fix bugs, ship features.
- Set up analytics and event tracking without ad tracking.
- Work from a short backlog agreed with the founder and ship weekly.
What you will learn

Who you are
- Computer science or web development student.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Git. A plus: Squarespace, Phaser or React.
- You finish things and show your work. Remote or a mix works.
Practical: unpaid, built for Erasmus+ traineeship grants (we sign the learning agreement and issue the certificate). 2 to 6 months. English B2 or better. Direct daily contact with the founder.
