Zavod Moja mavrica

Non-profit / NGO

We are a training base for interns and students. Our amazing young professionals bring new perspectives that complement our work. Together, we create a collaborative space to learn, grow, share knowledge and cocreate experiences.

Ljubljana, Slovenia

We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, with a preference for candidates with either academic or professional knowledge related to climate change, housing injustice and political science.

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

- have a genuine interest in social justice, housing rights, climate justice, or intersectional approaches to public policy

- are comfortable engaging with people in public spaces and working with diverse communities, including LGBTQ+ youth, migrants, and other marginalized groups

- bring curiosity and willingness to learn across disciplines: video editing, facilitating a workshop, or understanding housing legislation

- can work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team

- are reliable, organized, and able to commit to a structured schedule.

Previous experience in street theatre, community organizing, video production, graphic design, or advocacy is valued but not required. We provide training in all core project methods.

Initially, you will work on planning, implementing and evaluating activities together with our volunteers and target groups, like leisure evenings, focus groups, sports activities, street actions and interventions and internal educational activities. Most of the workload for this internship will be based around climate change and housing justice, with a focus on networking and street work.
