We are looking for a talented Web Developer & Designer Intern to join the EU Research and Development Agency in Vienna. This role is ideal for someone who can combine design aesthetics with clean code to create intuitive, responsive websites and web interfaces for our agency and international projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain responsive websites, landing pages, and user interfaces.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and visual prototypes that enhance user experience (UI/UX).
- Assist with front-end web development, site updates, and content management (e.g., WordPress or custom frameworks).
- Optimize website performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and troubleshoot design/technical bugs.
Requirements:
- Academic background in Web Development, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Experience with core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Proficiency with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) and basic graphic design tools.
- Strong attention to visual detail, good problem-solving skills, and fluency in English.
