The scope of the internship is to study the phenological processes of olives, apply analytical techniques, and use field methods to examine the genetic diversity and characteristics of over 700 olive varieties in the Worldwide Olive Germplasm Bank at the University of Córdoba in Spain, and evalutaion of olive trials in different locations. The internship's main objectives are:

To learn the phenological cycle of olive.

To differencie olive varieties regarding their Bud burst, Flowering and Rippening time.

To evaluate the resistance of the olive varieties to biotic and abiotic stresses, such as cold, drought, pests and diseases.
