We are the English Translation and Interpreting department at Sakarya University, Türkiye/Turkey. We wish to receive Erasmus+ interns who can speak English with at least a B2 level.

We are always welcoming interns as we are an international department. However, the maximum number of interns we can work with at one time is 2. So make sure to reserve your place!

We work with the Erasmus+ department of our university to provide deserving interns with the acceptance letter.   

The intern is expected to help academics and organise academic events. There are also language classes that the trainee can attend.

  • Time limit: NONE [can work here a few months throughout the year]
  • Hours: Flexible. Depends on the Erasmus agreement, expecting a minimum 20hr/week part-time intern
  • Expectations: A Bachelor-degree, Master-degree or PhD student (currently) - all acceptable, works well within an office, can do public speaking, speaks good English, has won or is going to earn an Erasmus+ grant from own university.
  • Possible Tasks: Office tasks, organising files, assisting in courses, preparing and presenting presentations on own culture, language or translation, helping out with events and research.  
  • Preferred time: semesters are preferred rather than the holidays.
