c0founders is a global community-driven initiative that brings together entrepreneurs, builders, and visionaries to co-create and launch impactful startups. Our mission is to connect founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, and industry experts to foster innovation, share insights, and provide hands-on support. We are a volunteer-led organization that believes in collaboration, open knowledge, and supporting every member’s success.
We are looking for a Community & Communications Manager (Volunteer) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our social media, community engagement, newsletters, and outreach efforts. You'll play a key role in keeping our members connected, informed, and inspired while helping us grow the reach and impact of our community.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage and engage with members through our community platforms (e.g., Discord, Slack)
- Organize online events and coordinate networking sessions
- Find and onboard mentors, speakers, and community hosts
- Create and manage social media content and campaigns
- Write and distribute monthly community newsletters
- Support member onboarding and improve engagement flows
- Contribute to content planning and community strategy
- Collect feedback and track engagement metrics
- Promote a collaborative and supportive culture within the community
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (e.g., Canva)
- Experience with community platforms such as Discord or Slack
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Passionate about startups and entrepreneurship
- Previous experience in community management, marketing, or event planning is a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
