About the Internship
Join the team at Erasmus Life Las Palmas or Erasmus Life Tenerife as a Communication Intern and gain hands-on experience in international event organization, community engagement, and digital communication.
This internship is ideal for proactive, creative, and outgoing individuals who enjoy working with people, creating content, and being part of an international environment. The role is strongly focused on events and community activities, with communication and content creation growing naturally from those experiences.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Event Organization & Community Engagement
At Erasmus Life, events are at the heart of everything we do. As an intern, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of international events and activities while helping us create memorable experiences for students and young people from all around the world. You will actively engage with the international community in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or all over Tenerife by attending events, supporting participants, promoting upcoming activities, and contributing to a welcoming and energetic atmosphere. You may also assist in building relationships with potential partners and collaborators.
Content Creation & Communication
The content we create comes directly from the experiences we build within the community. During events and daily activities, you will capture photos and videos, create engaging social media content, and contribute to newsletters, websites, and promotional materials. You may also assist with writing articles, blog posts, and event recaps that reflect the organization’s vision, values, and international spirit while helping us reach new audiences online.
Social Media Management
You will support the management of our communication channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and WhatsApp communities. This includes helping with content planning, scheduling posts and campaigns, monitoring engagement, and contributing creative ideas to strengthen our online presence and community interaction.
Graphic Design & Branding
As part of the communication team, you may also assist in the creation of visual materials such as flyers, posters, presentations, and social media graphics. We are looking for someone with a creative mindset who can help us maintain a visually consistent and engaging brand identity across different communication channels.
What We Are Looking For
We are searching for someone who is communicative, proactive, creative, and comfortable working in an international environment. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, has an interest in events and community building, and is motivated to learn more about communication and digital content creation. Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut,or video editing applications is considered a plus!
INTERNSHIP DETAILS:
Important details
This internship offers a flexible starting date and duration depending on the requirements of your university or Erasmus+ programme. Interns will gain practical experience in communication, event organization, community management, and international teamwork while living in one of the most unique destinations in Europe, the Canary Islands. All interns must be funded through the Erasmus+ Programme. This is an unpaid internship position. This internship is available in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
